SAC x AMI – A Story of Its Own

The idea for SAC x AMI was conceived during the lockdown when the world came to a standstill. With limited work opportunities, we had the chance to pause, reflect, and focus on new ideas. As we restructured our lives and home, the concept of SAC x AMI was born.

But our story started long before that, with two twenty-somethings navigating life as best as they could. After finishing high school, gaining experience abroad, and completing our apprenticeships as hotel specialists, we both began working full-time in some of the most luxurious hotels in Düsseldorf. Immersed in an environment of quality and luxury, our appreciation and expertise in high-end items grew rapidly. Despite the demands of our jobs, we also managed to earn our bachelor's degrees.

After spending over a decade in the hospitality industry, we felt it was time for a change. Throughout the years, we often pondered our purpose in life, with entrepreneurship always being at the forefront of our discussions. We had countless ideas but were unsure of where or when to begin. Our turning point came during a two-month stay in Thailand, where we finally found the mental clarity we needed.

Exploring our options, we initially pursued a completely different path, but we kept returning to our original passion. It all began in 2020, when the simple act of organizing and sorting through bags highlighted our deep understanding of luxurious environments and high-quality products. Fast forward to 2023, and we are now pursuing our dream of independence, bringing our vision to life.

Welcome to SAC x AMI, an exquisite brand that seamlessly blends elegance and fine craftsmanship. The name SAC x AMI represents the exclusive design and love for high quality. The Brand was founded in 2023 in Düsseldorf, an elegant and fashion enthusiastic city in the west of Germany. Düsseldorf is the birthplace of the brand and still to this day home to both founders Franziska & Maximilian.

The French touch of words is an homage to Maximilians heritage and gives its unique touch of a simple combination. SAC simply translates to bag and AMI to friend. SAC x AMI [Sak - Ah-Mi] wants to be your bag's best friend to the end of time.

Our products stand for timeless aesthetics and high-quality material. Therefore, we naturally chose our production partner in Italy. They are known for being one of the best leather manufacturers in the world and represent an important keyword for the fashion luxury industry. Combined with our origins in Germany and designing this product, we are blending three significant fashion locations.
